MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTION CLASS
4th-6th grade
This class focuses on training in acting, voice and movement with a rehearsal period that leads to a performance of one of our original musicals. Instruction includes traditional Stanislavski techniques, improvisation and character development. No experience is necessary; however, this class leads to a performance in a professional theatre setting and students are expected to be committed and work at the highest level of professionalism.

PLAY'S THE THING
2nd-3rd grade
This class involves students in the theatrical process through acting exercises designed to increase concentration, free the imagination, foster spontaneity and flexibility and increase self confidence. Movement for the stage, theatre games,
character development and improvisation are used to help students engage in the creative process. At the last class meeting, parents will be invited in to observe a presentation of learned exercises and rehearsed performance material.

TEEN PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
7th-9th grade
A performance-based class offering students the opportunity to hone their acting,
voice and movement skills. Using improvisation techniques, scene work and songs, students create and perform a show based on a social issue relevant to their lives. Students MUST be available for the performance.

COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE: MOVEMENT/MASK
High School
Using masks and commedia dell’arte techniques, students will explore the body and movement to learn how to create character. Through improvisation and development of the commedia dell’arte stock characters, students will create and perform a show at the end of the session. Students MUST be available for the performance.
